How we use your information.

IJ Ranch collects the information you provide to answer inquiries, manage beef orders and club memberships, verify deposits, prepare cut sheets, calculate final balances, arrange processing and pickup, and send order records.

Information we keep

This may include your name, contact details, location, order preferences, payment confirmation or reference, agreement acceptance, cut instructions, membership status, and purchase totals. We do not collect online banking credentials. Card information is entered directly with Stripe and is not stored by IJ Ranch.

Who receives it

We use your information to manage your order. Relevant cut instructions may be shared with the provincially inspected butcher processing your beef. Transactional email delivery may use Resend, and recurring club payments may use Stripe.

Retention and security

Order and payment records are retained as reasonably required for customer service, accounting, tax, and dispute records. Information sent through this site uses HTTPS. Administrative access requires a bcrypt-hashed password, an authenticator-app code, and a short-lived server-side session. Customer portal access requires the matching order email and a random access number stored only as a one-way keyed hash. Private PDFs require an authenticated owner or administrator and a short-lived signed link. Public forms use one-time human-verification questions, server-side rate limits, same-origin request protection, and hidden bot traps. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Access, correction or deletion

Contact ranch@ironjet.ca or call 780-677-0202 to ask about your information, correct an order detail, or request deletion where record-keeping law does not require continued retention.
